Craft Room Projects

I hope everyone had a fantistic Easter yesterday! I spent the day crafting and spending time with my husband. I am thankful to be as blessed in this life as I am.

During the March Papertrey Ink countdown, Nichole Heady made a storage container our of the boxes their stamp sets are packaged in. She used the new Mini Scrapbook Series: Tabs set and dies from Heather Nichols. This is what her's looked like (this is her post and she's even got a video showing how she put it together):
The, a few days after that I was checking out some of my favorite blogs and happened upon Michelle Wooderson's blog, where she was featuring her new sketch book that I was lucky enough to pick up from her Etsy shop (here's the link):

I love that little sketch book, and if you were lucky enough to get one too, you know what I mean when I say it's the cutest darn sketch book I've seen in a while! Anyway, I was so inspired by Nichole and Mish that I had to create a few projects of my own, mimicking these designs because I loved them so!! I made my organizer using colors and pattern papers that matched my craft studio (I'll have pictures of that coming soon) and then made two more 'sketch' books that match the one from Mish, but are in different colors. Here's my organizer:
My pockets are for 'doodles,' 'to do list,' and 'shopping list.' I put the sketch book I got from Mish in my doodles spot, since this is where I will put my sketches, color combos, and doodles. Mish's book is a combination of plain, unlined paper and graph paper - perfect for sketches and doodles. I made my books out of plain, unlined paper. My second tab is for my to-do list, and here's the book I made for that:

The final tab in my organizer is for my shopping list. I tend to make a big list of things I need/want from stores and/or websites, so this is the perfect place for me to put a running list of items I either want or need, and just cross them off as I get stuff. LOVE IT! Here's that book:

Thanks for stopping by today.!!
Deb
