It's that time of the month again...time for another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. This month it's all about color and using the many different colors in the Papertrey spectrum to create a fun project. I had fun with this one, using some new products from the last release and picking out my colors! So here's the colors I've used as inspired by Dawn McVey's color scheme for the Senior Design Team Challenge in March:
I did make one change - I used Rustic Cream instead of Fresh Snow, otherwise this was my color choice. Oh and I did use Raspberry Fizz ink to stamp that sentiment because it matched better on the Aqua Mist Cardstock. So I guess I did change up the color scheme a bit, but this was my base scheme..ha! Not normal colors for me to pair together none-the-less. Anyhow, here's what I came up with:
Lots of fun stuff going on here, while also trying to keep it simple and visually pleasing to my eye. Here's a close up:
Oh and one last thing, if you're at all interested in the rolled fabric flower like I created for this card, this is by far the best tutorial I have seen yet. Rhonna Farrer does a great job really explaining how to make various fabric flowers (and fyi...the rolled flowers are up first in the video).
Have fun hopping along to all the blogs!! Thanks for stopping by!!
Deb
