Papertrey Playhouse Challenge #1

I posted my Papertrey Ink Blog hop Challenge to the Playhouse blog because I was so proud of myself for finally breaking out my eyelet lace die (yep...I've had it since it released and I've finally used it) to pair up with some Hawaiian Shores Felt. However, I knew as soon as I saw the Stocking Prints die, I would have to pick it up...even though I don't have the Stocking Prints Stamp Set...I knew it would make for some great felt stockings on a card!! So this was my original plan for this challenge once Mary put the challenge out there last week. Here's what I came up with using lots of new goodies...

I had so much fun putting this card together and 'felt piecing' those stockings together!! Love the new Sugar Plum paper pack and the Holiday Spirit Sentiments stamp set!! Such fun putting some Christmas cards together!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the first challenge over at the Papertrey Playhouse if you haven't already!!

  1. Oh, I LOVE this!!!! I love how you hung the stockings on the baker's twine, and I am a SUCKER for buttons, so I love that too. You did such an awesome job with the 2 tone stockings too!! I am LOVING the felt stockings, and can't wait till this die shows up at my door, any day now!!

  2. This is adorable- love those stockings and the baker's twine!

  3. Fabulous card! Your stockings look like the real ones we see in the stores around the holidays. Love how strung them on the baker's twine.

  4. Oooo, I'm loving, loving, loving you felt duo stockings! And everything goes so well with that twine! Great job, Deb!
