Sketchbooks

Today is the first of April...which means there are probably LOTS of pranks or jokes being pulled!! Did you pull off any April Fool's Day jokes today??

I am starting my layout a day challenge for the month of April...and I will post my first layout here tomorrow (no this isn't an April Fool's Day joke). I thought I would share a tool that will hopefully help me take on this challenge...my sketch books. I have a card sketch book (which I hope to add to this month even though my primary focus is on layouts) and a page sketchbook. These are totally and completely based on the sketch books Kristina Werner featured on her blog in February. You can check out here post here where you can find the PDF insert pages for both books, along with the link to her orignial post of how to assemble your own book!

Here is my card sketchbook...

And my page sketchbook...

I used LOTS of My Mind's Eye on these! Love the new collections...Good Day Sunshine and Stella & Rose. The pink chipboard letters are from Cosmo Cricket and both the silver and white letters are American Crafts Thickers. I also added some Up, Up, and Away Stamps and Dies from Papertrey Ink on my card sketchbook. Do you use sketchbooks to help your creative process? How do you collect/store your ideas?

Thanks for stopping by!!
Deb
