Lawnscaping Challenge #12

I haven't done a Lawnscaping Challenge in quite some time so I decided to play along with challenge which is to create a card based on the sketch above. I love using card sketches and will often pencil something out before I start to create, so this was a perfect challenge for me!! Then, I got to creating and seemed to hit a block. Here is the first card that I created...

I liked it...but I didn't love it! So then I stopped thinking so much, got out of my head so to speak, and just played around with my stuff...and came up with this one...

Can you believe this is the first time I've stamped that typewriter!!! Loved coloring it in red!! Thought about pink, but the red went so much better with the text on the pattern paper. Added a small punched strip (using a postage border punch), tied on some red baker's twine, added a button, and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by!!
