Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge

The Challenge: This month we decided to dedicate the Blog Hop to scallops! We want to see your best use of scallops, of any sort, on a project! This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops, scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up! You can use dies, patterned scissors or even circle punches in a row to achieve your special look. We are looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations!

I haven't participated in a PTI Blog Hop since November...that's quite a long absence!! But I had fun with this one. I broke out my medium scalloped border die and did some die cutting!! I also broke out LOTS of new supplies that just arrived at my doorstep this past week from the latest release. Love getting new stamps inky for the first time!! And can I just say that I am LOVING the new color!! Royal Velvet is so yummy!!! Here's what I've put together...

I used vintage book print for my scallops. There are five layers all together. Then I wrapped a bow with the Royal Velvet Satin Ribbon. The tag is the Mat Stack 3 frame, layered with a Doily Detail (cut from the new Pacific Vineyard patterned paper collection), a Friendly Flower cut from the new Royal Velvet felt, a small Delightful Doily, and topped with a Royal Velvet button. (I have a lot of LOVE for my most recent order...can you tell?!?!)

This is a much better shot of the scallops and the Mat Stack layered frame. My go-to card is a Thank You card, because I can never have enough of them in my stash!! I can't wait to send this card!!

Have a great Blog Hop!! Thanks for stopping by!!
Deb
